Alexandre and Michel who own the shop have long been interested in Baobab trees, even growing them (hence the shop name). The feature of the shop is a 2 metre high metal baobab made from recycled oil drum made by a craftsman in Madagascar, you will naturally find they’re now also selling Baobab oil and Baobab fruit powder. Pop into our two shops situated on the beautiful tropical South Coast of Kwazulu Natal in Ramsgate at Ramsgate Lifestyle Centre and at Mattison Square and browse through a wide range of unique handmade, eco-friendly products.

A feature of the shop is a two metre high metal baobab made from a recycled oil drum by a Madagascan craftsman. Owners Alexandre and Michel, have long been interested in Baobab trees, even going so far as to grow them. It is from this interest in Baobabs that the shop’s name emerged. Visit either, or both, of their two shops situated on the beautiful tropical South Coast of Kwazulu-Natal. One in Tour Six Ramsgate, at Ramsgate Lifestyle Centre and the other in Tour Eight Port Edward, Mattison Square (between Leisure Bay and Port Edward) and there browse through a wide range of unique handmade, eco-friendly products.
