Glenmore Sands Beach Resort

Travelling south from Marina Beach, the coast becomes a little Wilder’ with the holiday resorts of Trafalgar, Palm Beach, Glenmore and Leisure Bay attracting visitors with their beautiful beaches! A few minutes drive from Trafalgar, you Cross yet another river mouth and lagoon, the Mpenjati, part of a 66 ha nature reserve protecting the unspoilt beach and dune forests, stocked with bushbuck and blue and grey duiker. Well marked trails provide exciting hiking opportunities.

Established in 2002, The Cow Shed Coffee Shop is family owned business that strives to make everyone feel welcome! Their menu consists of a variety of beverages, light lunches, open sandwiches and delicious home-baked cakes. They have beautiful hand-painted pottery, paintings and home-made, locally produced goodies such as jams, pickles, and biscuits.
Baobab Galerie
A unique decor and gift shop offering carefully selected imported Madagascan crafts, baskets, wickerwork, handbags, jewellery, marquetry and so much more. Handmade from raffia, sisal, wild silk, palm leaves and other natural materials as well as further products that are handmade from upcycled and recycled materials. A feature of the shop is a two metre high metal baobab made from a recycled oil drum by a Madagascan craftsman.
Secret Sithela
Secret Sithela is situated in a lovely tranquil environment and is only a 10 minute walk to Glenmore Beach. Explore their magical, indigenous forest or relax in the rowing boat on our picturesque dam. It’s a bird watcher’s paradise!
They are committed to preserving our local natural and cultural heritage and their forest and gardens contain over 70 species of birds, 50 indigenous medicinal and charm plants, 60 listed indigenous trees and a variety of small animals.
Munster Motor Museum
A first of its kind for the province, this lower KZN South Coast museum boasts an impressive collection of motoring history dating back to 1923. The museum was established by local car enthusiast, Rod Kinsey, with other like-minded collectors, as a way to reflect the local passion for all things motorised.
The Estuary
