The Dezzi Raceway in Port Shepstone is a 2.5km circuit and is the only Motorsport South Africa (MSA) approved racing track in KZN.
Set within the scenic and unspoiled beauty of the KZN South Coast, this state-of-the-art raceway includes two purpose built drift tracks built on what was once an airfield. The track includes two drift circuits which, together offers eight possible variations including the ability to race in two directions, entering from either side and track elevations. A stretch of high-speed corners join the two drift tracks to form the full circuit.
The Dezzi Invitational Time Attack held annually since the track’s inception, attracts over 55 of SA’s top drivers from around the country. This event generally takes place from 3 to 5 July with all the drivers competing in the International Time Attack format.

At this motor racing competition, spectators are treated to a visual feast of a series of top racing cars ranging in rand value from 3M to 5M, including brands like as Ferraris, McLarens, and Lamborghinis.
The Dezzi Raceway provides racing fans with all the amenities to make their day at the races unforgettable. These include two sets of open pits, one lock-up pit, an aeroplane hangar, viewing decks and banks, marshalling towers, hospitality zones, a timing office, briefing room, showers and toilets and a large entertainment area.
“This track is a big milestone for us and KZN,” said track owners Des and Louise Gutzeit, track owner. “It’s a privilege and honour to be able to share it with the country and contribute to the growth of motorsports in South Africa. We are looking forward to huge things in the future.”
