The UMTENTWENI CONSERVANCY was established in November 2007 and registered with the KwaZulu-Natal Conservancies Association.
The aim of the conservancy is to protect and promote our natural heritage, within the greater Umtentweni area. This stretches from the Umzimkulu River estuary to the Umtentweni River, and up to the toll road, at which point the Umtentweni Conservancy joins the Umzumbe conservancy.

endless views

The Conservancy also hosts a large number of birds and indigenous plants, including some of the biggest fig trees, which combine to make this one of the most valuable urban conservation areas on the KZN South Coast. You as a ratepayer, homeowner, resident, or interested party, have an opportunity to contribute to the success of the UMTENTWENI CONSERVANCY by becoming a member and/or sponsoring and participating in our various projects in the community.
